Salam parents and kids

We had fun today reviewing the whole tajweed rules we learned this year. We are almost done with our reading book.
HW after the spring break is to read page 87 and 88 five times each. Please focus on all the madd we learned.
Circle the madd letters in these two pages and put how much to stretch it 2 or 5 harakas.
For those who were absent today, we covered المد المثقل الكلامي.
This is when a madd letter is followed by a letter that has shaddah. Like in لضآلُّون. In this word we have two madds: the alif: 6 harakas and the waw: 2 harakas.
Start preparing for our last surah this year, Surat Quraish.

-Read and color (HQ) coloring book pages:1,2,16
-Read the story of Adam(A) from The Prophets of Allah(SWT) Vol.1
-Practice the  assesment ” The Books of Allah(SWT) ” in the attachement below ,as there will be a test on Jan11th insha’allah (the test will be the same as the assessment)

Homework Due on Dec 7th, 2014

-Read&color (HQ) coloring book pages: 6,22,30,31
-Finish angels’ booklet sent with your child:
1-Match the Angels’ name with their job (provided in an envelope in your kid’s  binder ,along with stapled construction papers )

2-Paste each angel  with it’s picture in one page in the booklet .

3-Continue with all three angels
4- Color the pictures.

1-Read & color (LSR) pages:9,11,12,13
2-Do the attached assessment
3- Finish the dove project it’s due next week to earn credit,I have attached the instructions
Please read to your kids the sentence on top of the coloring page as we review it at school ,and let them color the pages, I don’t grade on perfection but on completion( their best) so they can earn the homework credit,please let me know if you have any questions

  • Read&color (HQ) coloring book pages:3,4,5
  • Read “The First Revelation “and answer the questions in paper (kids don’t have to write, parents can write for their kids)
  • Read “The Story of Hijra” and make the Dove Project  with white  plate in your kid’s binder details are in the attachment , and bring it next Sunday
  • Insha’Allah we will do the spider project in class, -please encourage your beautiful kids to retell the 2 stories that we talked about during class before you read to them.
  • Today we made Bismillah Mobile at school,  please practice with your child to say Bismillah before doing anything
