Homework Due on Mar 1st, 2015

Assalamu Alaikum Respected Parents of Kg.  It was nice seeing you last Sunday. I hope you enjoyed your time, I know the kids had so much fun working on the writing books.

i s ALLAH we will continue working with the kids for a few weeks. If you haven’t signed yet and wish to volunteer, you can come in class from 10:15 to 10:45 (sh?) depending on how much help is needed that day.
Homework due March 1st;
the last two Ayas of Surat Alfatiha with meaning, final test this Sunday. 
Note; The kids are expected to recite the Surah, but not expected to memorize the meaning. Just a general one is enough. Also, feel free to use any words for the meaning that you find easy for your child to have a better understanding  (for example; nice / kind etc…).

Here are some great news and volunteer opportunity!
You are all invited to have breakfast and volunteer this Sunday with Kg class. We should in shaa ALLAH have the Arabic writing books available for  students. Working on these books will require some explanation and closer attention until the kids feel comfortable with the routine.  Students will start working on writing i s A but will not take the writing books home for a while. It is a great opportunity to volunteer and work with him / her in class
Please come to Kg class this Sunday at 10:30 and plan to stay. Besides learning we will have light breakfast,  games and more. Please try your best to make it. Looking forward to seeing you all in shaa ALLAH.

Homework Due on Jan 4th, 2015

Assalamu Alaikum respected parents. i s ALLAH you and your families are all well.
Here are some updates / reminders from our Kg. class, 
* Class Pictures;
They were sent home yesterday, please check your child’s binder.
* Quraanic Studies Homework Due Jan, 4, 2015;
1. Memorize the first three Ayas from Surat Alfatiha with meanings. TEST ON JAN, 4.
Please find a sheet in your child’s Quraanic Studies binder with Suraht Al-Fatiha on one side and Surat An-Nass on the other side.  Make sure you don’t loose the sheet for we will need it for the rest of the year.
Students are required to memorize the Suras, but you may use any meanings that you find accurate and simple for your child.  
 2. Review page 1-3 and study P. 18
 
* Writing Skills /  Books;
Some of you requested writing for their kids however; many students weren’t ready yet and still need a lot of help. We have been practicing writing in class and hopefully will start our writing books after break i s ALLAH once most students improve some skills. I will let you know if you can come and help in class. 
 
* Report Cards;
They will be sent home during the last week of December i s ALLAH.
* School Fee installment Due and Breakfast at School Jan, 4;
Please join us on Jan, 4 and enjoy a warm cup of tea along with breakfast, remember to pay school fee. 
 
* Winter Break;
School will be closed for winter break and will resume Jan, 4. in shaa ALLAH you stay safe, healthy and in deep Iman.
