I hope you had a wonderful Eid – again, Eid Mubarak to you all!
Last Sunday in class…
- we reviewd the letters أ to خ
- we studied / we learned new letters :د ذ ز ر
- we reviewed ayat one and two
Homework:
- Memorizing the first two ayahs of Surat Al-Fatiha (remember that it always starts with أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم)
- Surat al Fatiha Ayah 1= بــســم الله الرحمان الرحيم
- Ayah 2 =الحمـد لله ربّ العالمين
In this ayah students should notice the two letters that we studied that day د and ر and of course the letter ب that we studied two weeks ago. I highlighted them in this homework as well. By highlighting them, I hope that it starts to make it easier for them to read Qur’an (by noticing letters they’re familiar with) and decode the letters in long sentences or Ayahs.
